Joseph Pilates, the founder of Pilates, personally laid down the specifications for the High Ladder Barrel. Adding this equipment provides a safe and comfortable way to reap all the benefits of the Pilates method. The High Ladder Barrel is a commercial-grade Pilates barrel and ladder that uses body weight resistance and a ladder and half-barrel platform as an exercise mechanism. Exercises target the total body, with ladder-barrel distance adjustability and a steel bracing system for safety. The High Ladder Barrel has a raised, upholstered barrel with ladder attachment and is fully adjustable to accommodate a variety of users. Handcrafted from 13-ply Baltic birch, American hardwood, and steel. Features great back and leg exercises as well as the traditional back, torso, and shoulders workout capability. Choose from black, slate, or natural color.

    Targeted exercises
    The High Ladder Barrel is an invaluable tool for back bends and leg-raise exercises to supplement effective classic exercises for the leg, back, and shoulders. You can easily strengthen and streamline your body with exercises available on the High Ladder Barrel.

    Adjustable distance
    The High Ladder Barrel is length-adjustable between 35 and 47 inches so you can tailor the barrel-to-ladder distance to suit your body. The adjustability of the barrel makes it comfortable and safe for supported back bends and other Pilates work.

    Original Pilates specifications
    The High Ladder Barrel follows the original specifications of Joseph Pilates, including accurate ladder rung spacing and barrel contour. Pilates himself designed these elements based on the body's natural needs.
